Historical Category: Local History
Video Date: 8/23/24

Built in 1877, Franklin's Log Cabin is a wonderfully preserved piece of Vermont life. Now in its third location and owned by the Franklin Historical Society, it shows visitors a glimpse into what life would have been like when it was used between the late 1800s and 1950s. Vermont Historical Society Executive Director Steve Perkins and ABC 22 & Fox 44 Anchor Mike Hoey continue their visit to Franklin to check it out.

This Place in History is produced in partnership by Local 22 & Local 44 (www.mychamplainvalley.com) and the Vermont Historical Society.
