Fort Montgomery
As you drive from Vermont to New York along Rt. 2 along the Canadian border, you'll see a low stone fort tucked in along the shoreline of Rouse's Point. The structure is Fort Montgomery, which has a history that stretches back hundreds of years to the French and Indian War, and is the result of much discussion over where the border between the United States and Canada lay.
