The Long Trail
The Long Trail began as a vision for James P. Taylor in the early 20th century to promote Vermont and connect people with the natural world. Over one-hundred years later, it boasts 273 miles of trail, over 60 overnight shelters, and 30,000 acres of land!
This Place in History is produced in partnership by Local 22 & Local 44 (www.mychamplainvalley.com) and the Vermont Historical Society.
