The Research and Exhibition Gallery

The Research and Exhibition Gallery  (REG) of the Vermont Historical Society is an open-storage gallery with hundreds of items from our collection. We charge $9.00/day to use the library; members and students are free. Learn more

The REG is a place to explore the VHS collections. Items are marked with QR codes so that visitors can identify the objects and consider the stories that they tell. Visitors are encouraged to open drawers and view cases, making connections between the displayed items.

Directions & Parking

Accessible & limited mobility parking is available in a small lot at our Washington St. entrance. Additional parking is available on street. Parking is metered along Washington St., Free along Academy St. and around Currier Park. The main entrance is the accessible entrance with an elevator.
